In January, the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Center near Dulles had a special event where we got to go into the archives and restoration areas. They also featured special exhibits including a chance to wear an astronaut's glove. Jadon especially liked that since we've recently been reading books like, Mousetronaut. He also got to "ride" an airplane with his friend Noah.
In early February we spent a weekend with dear folks at Sneads Ferry Fellowship Church in NC (there was snow on the ground there but happily it was a pleasant 65 degrees!). On the way to Sneads Ferry we hit the Virginia Aviation Museum which proved to be a great place for us all to stretch our legs and learn more about aviation.
