August 2012

August has been eventful! We recently enjoyed a visit from Grandpa and Grandma M and took a day-trip to Richmond for a picnic with other adoptive families. Our church gained independence, meaning, we are no longer a church plant – we are a self-supported church! We celebrate our 5-year birthday as a church this fall. 

In the midst of all this, Jadon keeps surprising us with (drumroll)...teeth! Two bottom ones. And he's in constant motion now with his crawl which resembles both an army crawl + a salamander crawl since he uses his two big toes to take off. He continues to love music and books, though getting him to sit still anymore can sometimes be a task since he's such an explorer. Jadon thrives on being with people and lights up a room with his contagious smile.
