The Odd Life of Timothy Green

Last Tuesday we attended a pre-screening of a new adoption-friendly movie by Disney called The Odd Life of Timothy Green. We laughed, and cried throughout the film, for it portrays the challenges and joys of adopting pretty well, albeit in the case of the Green family, adopting in a most unusual, magical way.

I am intrigued that a major movie company would invest in a making a movie that seems to have the express purpose of promoting adoption and helping friends and family of adoptive families to better understand and serve them. This on-screen adoption adventure will be worth seeing when it is released on August 15th.
